This article discusses the role of movies in educating young people in the military-patriotic spirit. The year of creation of each film, the film studio, how many parts it consists of are recorded, and for popular documentary and scientific films, their subject and content are briefly mentioned. It is recommended to widely use documentary, scientific-popular and educational films in lectures, thematic discussion meetings, movie nights and preparing young people for military service. Information is given that the themes of feature films shown in educational institutions should be different
