In this article, the main goal of the work of orientation to military professions and the requirements for professions is to widely promote the profession of an officer on the basis of highlighting socio-political, moral-spiritual and combat qualities, to make it popular among young people.

The work of directing to military professions is mainly aimed at forming the conscious choice of the officer's profession in civilian youth, helping them to choose a specific military specialty.

The work of orientation to military professions is organized at enterprises, organizations and educational institutions with the involvement of officers of Troop types, representatives of the Department of Defense Affairs, CHIOT leaders of educational institutions.
