Abstract

It is a well-known fact that translation is a cultural activity influenced by many social and cultural factors. Language is a carrier of culture, and culture's language is the soil; translation is the bridge of intercultural communication. Translation is mainly a problem of intercultural communication. To translate correctly, the translator must understand all kinds of cultural factors in the source language and the target language, i.e., cultural context, which would otherwise lead to inaccurate translation.
