Maqolada inson tana a’zolari nomlariga nisbatan qo‘llaniladigan frazeologik birliklarning o‘ziga xos jihatlari, ular yuzasidan tilshunos olimlar olib borgan ilmiy izlanishlar, frazeologik birliklar hosil qilishning struktur-semantik modellari, frazeologik birliklarning voqelikka nisbat beriladigan lug‘aviy mazmuni, ingliz tilida qo‘llanadigan sоmаtik frаzeоlоgik birliklаr haqida ma’lumot berilgan. Xususan, ingliz tiliidagi somatik frazeologik birliklar tahlil qilingan. Nazariy ma’lumotlarga munosabat bildirilgan.
