Abstract

This article delves into a comprehensive linguistic analysis of proverbs in English and Uzbek, aiming to uncover the cultural nuances embedded in these linguistic expressions. By employing various linguistic methods, the study explores the structural, semantic, and pragmatic dimensions of proverbs in both languages, shedding light on the unique ways in which these linguistic artifacts reflect cultural values and shared wisdom. The findings contribute to a better understanding of cross-cultural communication and offer insights into the richness of language as a repository of cultural heritage.
