Avtotransport majmuasida ekologik xavfsizlikni oshirish muammosi tobora dolzarb bo‘lib bormoqda. Avtomobil transporti atrof-muhitni ifloslantiruvchi kuchli manba bo‘lib,undan atmosferaga chiqayotgan chiqindilar miqdori transport vositalarining soni va texnik holati bilan belgilanadi. Shu sababli, avtomobil transportida chiqindilarni qayta ishlashda atrof-muhitga etkazilgan zararni baholash uchun zarur shart-sharoitlar hosil bo‘lgan chiqindilar massasini ishonchli aniqlash vazifalari hisoblanadi.
