Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of nouns in English and Uzbek. It explores the role of nouns as a part of speech and examines their grammatical categories, specifically focusing on number and case. Additionally, the article discusses the concept of gender in modern English and the distinction between gender and sex. By analyzing the gender-neutral nature of Uzbek nouns and the gendered pronoun system in English, the study highlights the linguistic and cultural differences between the two languages.
