Maxsulotni qurutish shu mahusulotni uzoqroq muddad saqlash, isrofgarchilik oldini olish va boshqalarni ta’minlaydi. Har bir mahsulotni zararkunandalardan himoya qilish lozim. Shu jumladan, saqlashga keltirilgan,qurutilgan olxo’rilarni joylashtirish hisobi, zararkunandalar bilan zararlanmaganligi va boshqa bir qator xususiyatlarni nazorat qilish kerak.
