Abstract

Damping-off, root and/or stem blights caused by oomycetes of the Phytophthora genus are one of the most important groups of the most destructive diseases of cultivated plants, in particular legume crops. More than 15 species of this genus can infect species of beans, mungbean, soybean, cowpea and other legumes
