METHODOLOGY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING IN SCHOOLS

Our aim in this paper is to establish a fresh eclectic approach to English-teaching methodologies starting with the analysis of the existing methodologies.
Following an initial analysis of the existing methodologies, we will expose theirweaknesses and we will reflect on their use. Thus, we can provide a satisfactorytheoretical framework upon which to build.
Finally, we will discuss the idea of a new eclectic method that may help improvethe teaching of English with new technologies such as video games. We will also takeinto account our own experience of the “practicum” abroad in a native school.
