Abstract

Traditional pedagogical techniques and instructional methodologies have been transformed by the incorporation of computer and internet technology into English language learning. This article explores the various ways that technology has affected English language instruction, highlighting both the problems and the opportunities that come with it. The analysis investigates the efficacy of technology in facilitating language acquisition, establishing dynamic learning environments, and meeting the unique needs of language learners by drawing on a wide range of academic literature, case studies, and expert insights. This article also addresses the pedagogical, cultural, and ethical ramifications of integrating technology into language instruction, highlighting the significance of assessing this integration's influence on how language instruction will develop in the future. The essay emphasizes the need for ongoing assessment and improvement by offering helpful suggestions for teachers, curriculum authors, and planners.
