Для предотвращений вторичных деформаций челюстно-лицевой области у детей с врождёнными расщелинами губы и нёба (ВРГН), необходимо периодически изучать динамику физического развития. Развитие краниофасциальной области у детей с ВРГН после оперативных манипуляций является проблематичной темой, так как есть риск возникновения вторичных деформации. Непрерывное изучение роста лицевого скелета и в общем всего телосложения ребенка может явиться теоретической и методологической основой для разработки и усовершенствования морфометрических методов диагностики и реконструкции в медицине.
