Voleybol sporti xozirgi kunda keng tarqalgan sport turlaridan biri bo‘lib, u o‘sib kelayotgan o‘quvchi yoshlarni jismoniy rivojlantirish, ularning salomatligini mustahkamlashning ommabop va keng qulay vositalaridan biri bo’lib xizmat qilmoqda. Voleybol sport turini kattalar uchun ham, o’smir-yoshlar uchun ham birdek ma’qul bo‘lgan chinakam xalqchil o‘yin hisoblanadi. O‘yin vaqtida har bir o‘yinchi o‘zining shaxsiy intilishlarini umumiy maqsadga bo‘ysindirishni talab qiladi.
