Abstract

the purpose of this article is to analyze the linguocultural aspects of Navruz, a popular national and worldwide festival. The article "History of Navruz Geortonym as National Linguoculturem" discusses this holiday's origins, scope, ascent, linguistic and cultural evolution, and related linguoculterems: based on Uzbek language resources, ethnographisms, bibliographisms, anthroponyms, parems, and aphorisms are evaluated, and their sociolinguistic and ethnolinguistic nature is stressed.
